How to Measure Temperature

1. Press the power button; the device will beep once.
2. The LCD will display “188.8” for about 2 seconds, then show the last recorded temperature, followed by a default reading of 37.0°C (98.6°F).
3. If the ambient temperature is below 32.0°C, the screen will display “Lo,” indicating the device is ready to measure.
4. Take the measurement until the device beeps 10 times, indicating completion.
5. Press the power button again to turn off the device, or it will automatically shut off after approximately 10 minutes of inactivity.
